The 8^th Annual Great Adirondack Trail Run is now history!

More than 70 runners of all ages successfully completed the 3.5 mile run over Baxter Mountain, and nearly the same number conquered the challenging 11.5 mile course which climbed to the summit of Hopkins Mountain and descended over Spread Eagle Mountain.  Runners encountered everything from easy dirt roads, to scrambles up steep rock and knee-deep wades through beaver ponds. Last weekend’s 8th Annual Adirondack Backcountry Ski Festival was our most successful Skifest ever.

With ample snow cover and spring time temperatures, life couldn’t have been better.

We had sold out guided tours both days, as well a a huge demo/clinic event on Saturday at Otis Mountain.

Many people joined us for a hearty dinner at the Keene Valley Lodge and then back at the shop for some refreshments, two great ski movies and numerous raffle prizes.
