Adirondack International Mountainfest

The Sixth annual Adirondack Mountaineering Festival will be held on January 19 and 20, 2002 in Keene Valley, New York. Hosted by The Mountaineer, the event is a celebration of mountaineering that includes a variety of ice climbing and mountaineering clinics, slide shows, and demos. This year’s guest climbers include Pete Athans, Jay Smith, Kitty Calhoun, Geoff Tabin and Wilheim Jorge. The event is a charitable event that supports the Access Fund, Local Search and Rescue Groups, and educational institutions.
