General:
Pricing and availability are subject to change without notice.
The Mountaineer has no liability in the case of orders arising
from typographical errors and reserves the right to cancel any
orders without assigning any reasons. Every effort has been made
to ensure accuracy of information listed and The Mountaineer is
not responsible for any errors contained therein.
Prices are for internet mail order only. Please call for retail pricing.
Order confirmation doesn’t constitute a final offer or contract.
All orders are subject to management review and approval and if
found to be invalid due to any reason, are subject to
cancellation by management.
In case an item is not available, or out of stock, we will
notify you Via Email within 24-48 Business hours.
Payment Policy:
We accept MasterCard and Visa . There will be no
surcharge for the use of a credit card. Your card will be billed
once the order is processed and ready to be shipped.
When using your credit card be sure to provide your exact billing
address and phone number your credit card has on file on you.
Incorrect information may cause a delay in processing your order.
Order Acceptance
Policy:
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order
confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor
does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. The
Mountaineer reserves the right at any time after receipt of your
order to accept or decline your order for any reason. The
Mountaineer reserves the right at any time after receipt of your
order, without prior notice to you, to supply less than the
quantity you ordered of any item. All orders placed over $3000.00
must obtain pre approval. We may require verifications or
information before accepting any order.
Cancellation Policy:
Should you wish to cancel an order after it has been
shipped, you would be required to refuse delivery of your
shipment. A cancellation fee of 7% along with applicable fees and
shipping charges will be charged to your account.
Return and Exchange Policy:
Products are subject to manufacturer's restrictions and can
be returned within 14 days of receiving for refund or replacement
and the following terms and conditions will apply. Items may
not be returned after they have been used.
You are responsible for return shipping in all cases.
Items can not be returned after 14 days of receiving.
Important: Please include this
form or a similar note with your return.
Returns: The customer is responsible for the cost of
returning the boot to the Mountaineer.
Exchanges: In addition, the customer will be charged the actual
shipping cost of all items sent in exchange.
Shipping charges are non refundable. Any damages or missing items
to the original package will result in additional charges being
assessed to your account.
Defective products can be returned for replacement with the same
product without fee. The Mountaineer will not cover the cost of
shipping items back to the store. Replacement product will be
shipped out on receipt of the returned product by The Mountaineer
without additional shipping charges.
Where appropriate, credit will be given within three weeks of
return of the product.
Credit will calculate based on the price of product on the date
the returned item reaches The Mountaineer store. Customers
wishing to return or replace any product after the return
period from date of invoice must contact the manufacturer of the
product. The Mountaineer will have no liability after 14 days.
Safe Shopping
Guarantee:
"We guarantee that every online transaction you make will
be 100% safe. This means you pay nothing if unauthorized charges
are made to your card as a result of shopping at The Mountaineer.
Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you
liable for more than $50.00 of fraudulent charges. If your bank
does hold you liable for any of this $50.00, We will cover the
entire liability for you, up to the full $50.00. We will only
cover this liability if the unauthorized use of your credit card
resulted through no fault of your own from purchases made while
using the secure server. In the event of unauthorized use of your
credit card, you must notify your credit card provider in
accordance with its reporting rules and procedures."
Transactional
Information:
We make every effort to ensure that your purchase
experience at The Mountaineer is secure. We use state-of-the-art
data encryption technology to protect against loss, misuse or
alteration of your user information. Secure Socket Layers (SSLs)
encrypt the information sent between your computer and our
database. In addition, we use Internet fraud screening to protect
credit card transactions.
To be sure you're browsing secure pages, check your Web browser's
status bar (located at the bottom of the window) for the closed
padlock icon. This icon appears in the latest versions of Internet
Explorer and Netscape Navigator to tell you that you are viewing a
secure web page. Also, all browsers display an "s" after the
"http" (https://…) in the Web site address to indicate that you're
in a secure environment.
We also protect your purchase by preventing the shipment of
merchandise to a fraudulent address. All billing addresses are
verified electronically as and all alternate shipping addresses
are verified manually. Any customer shipping to an address that
differs from the billing address must put this alternate address
on file with his or her credit card company. We then call the
credit card issuer to verify that the customer has indeed put the
information on file.
Data Sharing:
The Mountaineer does not provide any third party with any
individually identifiable information other than that which is
necessary to complete your order. Specifically, The Mountaineer
gives your name, shipping address, phone number, and order
information to our shipping carrier. The Mountaineer also supplies
your name, billing address, and credit card information to the
credit card processor who bills your account. The Mountaineer has
strict guidelines requiring all third parties to keep any shared
personal information confidential.

Sales Tax Information:
If required by law, The Mountaineer will add sales tax to
the order to be paid by the customer. Applicable sales tax will be
charged on all orders to be delivered in the State of New York.
Shipping Policy:
The Mountaineer does not ship on Saturday or Sunday. Due to
shipping restrictions we cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes. Standard
shipping takes 3 to 7 business days.
All stock items
will ship within 24
hours, once the order has been processed. **Due to
verification process we are required to ship to the address
where you receive your monthly
credit card statements. In the event that you
would like to ship to your business address, we require the
company name and phone number and we would be able to ship
there, provided this is the same state as your billing address
and the business is verifiable. Additional information may be
required if the billing and shipping addresses are in two
different states.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability as to Products Sold.
All of The Mountaineer Inc. Products are guaranteed against
defects for 30 days from the date of invoice. Except as expressly
stated herein, The Mountaineer makes no representations or
warranties, either express or implied, of any kind with respect to
products sold on this site, included but not limited to,
merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. You agree
that the sole and exclusive maximum liability to The Mountaineer
Inc. arising from any product sold on the The Mountaineer shall be
the price of the product ordered. In no event shall The
Mountaineer be liable for special, indirect, consequential, or
punitive damages related to product sold.
Privacy Statement:
The Mountaineer is committed to keeping any information we
receive from our users private and secure. We do not sell our
customer information to any outside company. All information
collected remains private and secure.
