Mountaineer's Take: This is the way to go if you
want the most active free-pivot touring binding available.
The 01 is appropriate for the stiffest of boots and the
most aggressive of skiers, who want to feel the binding
flexing the boot under the ball of foot. It's not super
light but will feel that way while touring with the free
pivot mode. If you're concerned about releasability for
avalanche terrain or twisting falls take a look at the
7tm Power Tour.
It's not quite as active as the 01 but
it still does the job and adds a nice release feature.
