Fly Fishing Conditions 5/28/14

Hey everybody! Here is your 411 on fishing conditions in the Keene and Lake Placid area:

The “Ausables” are fishing well. West Branch is at 900cfs and rising slowly. Water temps mid-day around mid 50deg. Size 6-8 BH Wooly Buggers, CH Marabou Muddlers, Weighted Muddlers size 8-10 and Stonefly Nymphs. Adams Parachutes 14-16. Hendricksons 12-14

BH HE Nymphs and PT Nymphs are productive as well.

Fish are showing themselves on top…mid/late day being the best. Streamers, as always, are productive on the move…fished down and across.
