The West Branch of the Ausable is fishing well. Currently running at approximately 500cfs and holding steady. This might change a bit with some rain mid-week…but all-in-all looking at near average water levels.  Both “Catch and Release” sections are fishing well…water temps around mid 55-60 degrees. Size 8-10 BH Wooly Buggers (Black), 8-10 CH Marabou Muddlers (White), 8-10 Weighted Muddlers  and Yellow Stonefly Nymphs. Adams Parachutes 14-16. Hendricksons 12-14.

BH HE Nymphs and PT Nymphs are productive as well.

Mid-Late day is still producing the most fish.

Bass/Pike and Musky fishing will be getting better as we wear into June and July. Time to get out the big rods/lines/flies!

World Famous FREE Casting Clinics will start June 18th and continue Wednesday nights through the end of August…be sure to come by. All abilities welcome!
