Backcountry Skifest

The Adirondack Backcountry Ski Festival

Backcountry skiing means skiing on natural snow in natural terrain, and combines all of the elements of touring, climbing and downhill skiing into a real winter mountaineering experience. The Backcountry Ski Festival is a weekend long celebration of skiing, mini demos, instructional ski clinics, backcountry tours, guest athletes slideshows and feasting.

Whether or not you are here to ski the backcountry or not, make sure to check out the evening slideshow with our guest athlete!
